In our project we redesign the chassis frame of vehicles in truck. In existing, that chassis frame having capacity to withstand load of 16ton. We design the chassis frame with 24ton load withstand capacity and we reducing the body vibration of vehicle. To reduce this problem we adding an extra support at under portion of chassis frame. By this we can reduce the damages occurs in the vehicle components.
This work involved static and dynamics analysis to determine key characteristics of a truck chassis frame. The static characteristics include identifying location of high stress area and determining the torsion stiffness of the chassis frame.
