The aim of this study is to save and reduce the power consumption by controlling the various
industrial electronic devices by using smart phone android app through Internet Of Things. The system is
provided with remote environment and home environment. The remote environment consists of user and
android mobile app. The home environment has microcontroller, GSM module and sensors. The user logs
into the smart phone app and get the information about the devices whether it is in ON or OFF state. After
viewing through the app, user sends the signal to the microcontroller via GSM module. The automation
system which controls the electrical devices (lighting, fans, appliances and other system, etc.,) to provide
more convenience, comfort, power saving and security.
