MODELLING AND ANALYSIS OF EXHAUST VALVES FOR EFFECTIVE MATERIAL SELECTION IN DIESEL ENGINE USING ANSYS

Abstract

Aim of this research is to design and analysis of an exhaust valve for a single cylinder diesel engine using ansys software which is the most popular among engineering field. As the exhaust valve is the important part for a diesel engine which allows the exhaust gases to pass through it. And also it undergoes high thermal and impact load. So the design and analysis of exhaust valve with analysis software for different material will give better result and better material selection for exhaust valve.
