RANK BASED REUSABILITY AND RISK ASSESSMENT (RRRA) MODEL FOR SOFTWARE COMPONENTS REUSABILITY

Abstract

This paper focused on finding reusable components from existing repository. In order to perform this, here we proposed a model named Rank based Reusability and Risk Assessment (RRRA) Model. This model have three phases, In first phase, design a SPRE (Scrutinize, Prioritization and Rank based extraction) framework, which helps to identify the suitable reusable component from software reusable component repository(SRCR), Using coupling & cohesion metrics measure its individual strength in phase-2 and validate the reusable component against presence or absence of risk by distinct risk assessment approaches in phase-3. These phases are using attributes, metrics and assessment approaches to keep the component suitable for integrate into proposed software project.
