DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF AN ERP-BASED LABOUR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR TEXTILE INDUSTRIES
Abstract
The textile industry depends heavily on efficient labour management to maintain productivity and operational consistency. Traditional labour management approaches rely on manual record-keeping, which often leads to inaccuracies, delays, and inefficiencies. This paper presents the development of an ERP-based Labour Management System designed to automate workforce operations in textile industries. The system is implemented using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP (Laravel framework), and PostgreSQL. It includes features such as worker registration, job management, work tracking, loan and advance handling, and automated salary computation. The system improves data accuracy, reduces manual effort, and ensures transparency in financial transactions. Experimental results indicate that the system is efficient, scalable, and suitable for real-time industrial applications.
