A NOVEL APPROACH ON FOOD WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Abstract

Food is the one of the essential thing for human beings living. Currently, the rate of wastage of food is high in many places. The absence of efficient management system leads to wastage of large amount of food. This proposed system helps to solve this problem with the help of social media. The excess food from the particular place can be calculated by weighted and the measured data can be stored in database. The data which stored in database can be displayed in a mobile app and analysis can be made about excess food. Besides with the utility of social media we can inform to nearby orphanages that how much amount of food is excess in a particular place. The social media such as Facebook and twitter are commonly used by most of the people. The presence of particular groups and pages will helpful for delivering some information to particular organization. With the help of posting the information, they can contact with the particular place where excess food is present and provides to the needy.
