A ZVS BASED INTEGRATED BOOST RESONANT CONVERTER FOR PHOTO VOLTAIC APPLICATIONS

Abstract

This project presents design and implementation of a ZVS based integrated boost resonant converter implemented with low component count, simple control, as well as high efficiency across a wide input and load range.The commonly used renewable energy systems include photovoltaic cells and fuel cells. A suitable DC-DC converter is proposed for highly efficient renewable energy systems. ZVS technology was used in this project for renewable energy applications.With zero-voltage switching, the voltage regulator perform soft switching and avoid switching losses that occur during conventional PWM operations.
