AERATE HYDRO CONDENSER
Abstract
In many countries like India it is difficult to obtain water resources for irrigation or other
purposes, especially drinking water. The problem of water scarcity is also observed in other places of the world due to lack of rainfall. However, in highly humid areas like places close to the sea, water can be obtained by condensing the water vapour present in air. Here, we have proposed a method to develop water condensation system based on thermoelectric cooler. The system consists of cooling elements, heat exchange unit and air circulation unit.This device can convert atmospheric moisture directly into usable water which can also be used for drinking, by some water filtering methods including carbon, and reverse osmosis, and UV sterilizationlights. It is such a device which uses the principle of latent heat to convert molecules of water vapour into water droplets by using Peltier couple. The advantages of proposed method are usage of chlorofluorocarbons are avoided, temperature control with fraction of degrees can be maintained and controlled via changing the input voltage/current very easily. The major aim of our project is to provide safe and clean drinking water to those areas which are facing water scarcity problems.
