Experimental Investigation of Electronic Equipment Cooling Using R123 Refrigerant
Abstract
Electronic systems cooling is an attractive Research area in engineering. Effective thermal management of modern electronic system results in more heat generation within the system. This affects the performance of the electronic equipment and causes failure and
malfunction. It is observed that one can effectively solve this problem by opting for liquid cooling method such as closed - loop thermo syphon system with evaporative cooling technique which aids in proper design and operation of electronic cooling equipment. The evaporative coolants employed here are water based refrigerant mixture which helps in dissipation of heat flux thereby increasing the life period of the electronic cooling equipment.
