SECURE DATA TRANSFER FOR MANET USING ELLIPTIC CURVE CRYPTOGRAPHY

Abstract

The Mobile Ad-hoc network is emerging field as it is dynamic in nature and requires no central authority to manage it. Enhancing the security for data transfer against the malicious attacks is a challenging issue in MANET. In dynamic topology variations and open wireless constraints, the key parameter of the high security is maintained by the trust assurance between MANET nodes. However, the prior trust-aware routing protocol has many issues regarding security. Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC) has become the preferred choice for this environment because of its suitability to the devices having battery power, limited bandwidth, less memory and less computational resources. This paper presents novel trust-aware location key management protocol. Enhancing the security by using location and key based security scheme is considered.
