A SECURED FRAMEWORK FOR WIRELESS MOBILE ADHOC NETWORKS USING IDS-BASED RECONFIGURED DYNAMIC MANET ON-DEMAND PROTOCOL

Abstract

The DYMO protocol based IDS system uses an algorithm GODOM (GeOmetric DOMinated set) for the efficient selection of active nodes and also uses STAT (State Transition Analysis Technique) for detecting attacks. The IDS will checkout every packet using some threshold values and hash code values, if the packet transmission crosses both the values then that packet is marked as abnormal packet. The proposed system deals with improving the performances like efficient selection of active nodes, detecting more number of DYMO attacks, higher efficiency and lower cost of execution. This project aims to propose an enhanced version of MYDYMO using GODOM algorithm and STAT-IDS.
