DESIGN AND ANALYSIS FRAMEWORK FO R UNDERWATER ACOUSTIC SENSOR NETWORK
Abstract
In wireless sensor networks, one of the main design challenges is to save the energy of sensors .sleep awake algorithm can be proposed to obtain a long system lifetime without sacrificing the quality of network coverage and connectivity.The sensor network’s lifetime depends mainly on the sensor node’s battery power. In many of the various power saving protocols the sensor nodes will be put into sleep state when there is no transmission. These protocols do not change the awake and sleep time of the node according to its traffic load.For the energy perception , a sleep awake algorithm can be proposed to extend the sensors lifetime. Nodes in one SC select the cluster head node ,it sends the collected node information ,selecting the best route to BS and transmit the data packets, other nodes goes into sleep mode. In wake up schedule algorithm aims to each sensor node selects its own wake up time intervals based on its pending packetshe simulation results demonstrate the significant improvement ofsensors.
