STUDY ON BEHAVIOUR OF RC BEAM- COLUMN JOINT USING RED MUD AND QUARRY DUST AS PARTIAL REPLACEMENT FOR CEMENT AND FINE AGGREGATE

Abstract

Now a days technologies was quickly improved in the world. The modern new technologies was adopted for civil engineering fields. The several new different materials was used in civil engineering field. At present there are many construction materials available in the construction field. This huge amount of industrial by-products/wastes which is flattering a client for increasing environmental pollution and generation of a huge amount of resources which are unutilized. With a view , this research is aimed at finding out usage of such industrial by-products such as Red Mud and Quarry Dust for value added applications & also helps to solve the environmental problems. The present piece of my project work aims at, to provide a valued input/consumption of industrial by-product/waste. In this project report the technical papers related to structural elements such as Beam-Column joints, analytical studies published in journals and conference proceedings have been discussed. This paper also points out an additional capable direction for the proper utilization of red mud.
