HETEROGENEOUS ELECTROFENTON PROCESS USING HEMATITE IN METHYLENE BLUE DYE DEGRADATION OF TEXTILE WASTE WATER TREATMENT

Abstract

This project aim is to deals about Methylene blue dye degradation by using heterogeneous electro Fenton processes with highly active and  Hemat ite(Fe3O) stable solid catalysts. Hematite ore (iron rich sand) is used toprepare novel heterogeneous Fenton catalysts. In heterogeneous phase, the physical steps in addition to chemical changes take place on the surface of the catalyst  4at the active sites where mass transfer limited adsorption of reactant molecules occurs. Since, developing countries like Ind ia, China, Kenya, and Bangladesh spends 8.5-12.5% of GDP for the pollution control, so that the degradation of wastewater process helps a way for the environmental and health growth emphasis on the economic status.
