The corrosion of mild steel in 1N sulphuric acid in the absence and presence of Vernonia cinerea as corrosion inhibitors at 303K, 313K, 323K, and 333K has been studied by weight loss method and polarization techniques. It is aimed to predict the corrosion rate, inhibition efficiency and surface coverage of the Vernonia cinerea leaves water extract as inhibitors for the corrosion of mild steel in 1N sulphuric acid 

solution.
