SMART MUNICIPALITY WASTAGE CLEANING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM SMART MUNICIPALITY WASTAGE CLEANING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Abstract

---Rapid increase in population, has led to the improper waste management in cities resulting in increased pests and spreading of diseases. Nowadays, the Garbage collecting vehicle (GCV) collects the waste twice or thrice in a week.so, the problem is over flowing of wastages on the roads. Hence, to overcome this limitation, we introduce a scheme on s mart waste management using sensors and GSM/ GPRS
Module. The term waste management usually relates to all kinds of waste, whether generated during the extraction of raw materials, the processing of raw materials into final products, the consumption of final products or other human activities, including municipal, agricultural, and social like health care etc. The aim is to accommodate more and get the dustbin cleaned timely using alert services (Message and Caller Notification).Using Embedded technology to continuous monitoring the dustbin in order to check whether dustbin is full or not. Once the threshold is reached, it raises a request to the GCA (Garbage Collection Agent). These infrared sensors are connected to the microcontroller unit. The led displays show the level how much the bin has filled. In sender side (Dustbin), the data is sent to the receiver (Controller system) that how
much level of the bin has filled. In receiver side, user gets an indication through a mobile in the form of alert  message and caller notification. This system will help full in s mart cit ies to keep environment health and safety.
