In Port Address Translation (PAT) each computer on LAN is translated to the same IP address, but with a different port number assignment. Port Address Translation (PAT) is a feature of a network device that translate communications made between hosts on a private network and host on a public network. In the existing network topologies static NAT is used to link the private address with public address to communicate with global networks. In static NAT organization want to use unique address public address for each private address so the usage of Network Address Translation(NAT) is very expensive and network address translation cause delay in ipv4 communication and it cause loss of end device to end device IP traceability. So Port Address Translation(PAT) is the efficiency method to link private address with public address. When Compared to Network Address Translation, Port Address Translation is cost efficient. In Port Address Translation( PAT) organization can use their own public address for their private address during communication with global network. By using Port Address Translation (PAT) home network can be connected to web browser.
