The growing need for poultry products by consumers has urged the necessity for small and medium scale poultry farmers to meet up the demand with less man power and high profit. Some of the factors which need automation in poultry farm are feed, water, temperature, humidity and odor control. These systems are currently used in poultry farms. In this project, we mainly focused on automatic manure collection and weighing system for the chickens using load cell arrangement. Besides this, we are going to implement an automatic germ control system for vehicles and intimation of vaccination schedule dates to the person in-charge. The controller used is Programmable Logic Controller (PLC). In this project, low cost manure collection system is done with the help of rope scraper arrangement. The rope scraper working depends on the value of ammonia (NH 3

) sensor and timers. This is economical compared to conveyor belt arrangement. The antibiotic is sprayed towards the vehicle wheels for killing bacteria by detecting the vehicle movement. The photoelectric sensor is used to detect the vehicle movement. The antibiotic used for spraying purpose is hydrogenperoxide.
