EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION ON THE FLEXURAL BEHAVIOUR OF RC BEAM USING RECYCLED CONCRETE AGGREGATE AS COARSE AGGREGATE REPLACEMENT

Abstract

In recent year’s construction and demolition wastes are generate in large quanti ties. Recycling such waste by utilize them into concrete in a moderate solution for the pollution. The raw material such as recycled concrete aggregate is replaced as coarse aggregate. The replacement percentage of coarse aggregate by recycled concrete aggregate is 100%. In this work we determined the basic hardened concrete properties such as compressive strength, split tensile and flexural strength of concrete using full replacement of recycled concrete aggregate.
