Experimental Study on Durability effects of Dual Super-plasticizers on Self-curing concrete

Abstract

This paper presents a detailed experimental study on durability of concrete by inducing poly-chemicals at ages 7, 14, 21 & 28 days. The main investigation in this study is variation of water soluble polymers dosages from 0.5% to 3%.The super-plasticizers is added in replacement of cement content. The test result indicates that use of water soluble polymers in concrete has improved performance of concrete. Key Words: Durability, Compressive strength, PEG- 400, SNF, Self-curing.When the admixtures react with blended cement system, their demand for curing with (External or Internal) can be much greater than conventional concrete. There are several tests are available to find out the durability of concrete. Here, the compressive test was done. The objective of this work was to evaluate the behavior of self curing concrete when inducing dual super-plasticizers. The deterioration of concrete (weight loss) was evaluated.
