AN EFFICIENT FAST AND RELIABLE MULTIHOP ROUTING IN VANETS WITH ACK DECOUPLING

Abstract

Vehicular Ad hoc Networks (VANETs) is an extension of Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANETs) to share traffic information and emergency alerts amongst vehicles on the road. To support many applications in VANETs, most studies use GPS to hunt out the furthest node with acknowledgement to create successful message reception. if a channel between the sender and receiver is clear, this acknowledgement procedure are often removed such the sender can overhear the broadcasted messages from the receiver. Nodes closer to the sender inform the sender of successful rebroadcasting, If the sender fails, which sent an acknowledgement to the sender. This process will either entirely remove costly acknowledgement processes, which might significantly improve the speed of message propagation. during this paper, we use signal-to-noise (SNR) with acknowledgement decoupling to create sure fast message propagation with reliable message recovery. In this paper, Intelligent Forwarding Protocol (IFP) is used for a highly efficient and reliable multi-hop broadcasting that exploits efficient collision resolution mechanism, handshake-less communication, acknowledgement Decoupling by selecting road side unit as cluster head for the efficient and reliable multi-hop broadcasting, packet drop get reduce. IFP has been extensively studied and evaluated to work out its robustness and superiority over existing schemes. By using IFP the message propagation delay is significantly reduced and packet delivery ratio is drastically improved. The cluster head is selected to improve the message propagation and to establish reliable, energy efficient message propagation using IFP.
