BOMB DEFUSING ROBOTIC VEHICLE USING MOTION CONTROL TECHNIQUE

Abstract

The robotic vehicle with bomb detection device is to identify the bomb and defuse the bomb. Usually, the robots are controlled through remotes with joysticks. After a constant use of these remotes, there will be a strain on fingers and also they are not always comfortable to use. A completely hand motion controlled robotic vehicle using tilting motions does not need a single button presses. This allows the user to control vehicle motion as well as the bomb defusing arm. By the use of a PIC controller based circuitry in the transmitter section, the motion commands will be transmitted to the receiver unit. The receiver unit is equipped with a RF receiver to receive the transmitted signal from the transmitter. In the receiver unit, there is a PIC controller to convert the received signal into motion commands. These motion commands can operate the vehicle as well as the bomb defusing arm. In other side, the arm is also used for pick and place of obstacles in the construction areas by replacing the mechanism of the arm.
