The IOT utilization in daily lives is very potential and can be applied in various fields. In this system IOT is a key factor in food waste reduction and management. This paper proposes an IOT based frame work which can capture real time dynamic requirement of both vendors and consumer. We describe our proposed IOT based frame work in which food stocks and the decayed foods can be detected by arduino uno. The sensors in smart container are connected to the controller, data information from arduino uno connected to the network that can be accessed. The smart container is monitored and the decayed foods are intimated to the biogas plant by using mobile application.
