EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION ON STRENGTH CHARACTERISTICS OF CONCRETE BY USING WASTE MATERIALS

Abstract

The high value of standard construction material affects economy of structure and also the availability of raw material is very less because of higher use of concrete. In developing country like India, use of concrete is in higher quantity but the availability of raw materials are very less. Hence, Waste materials are used for replacing the construction materials. Here we are fully replacing the natural sand by M-sand. The cement is replaced with fly ash and coarse aggregate is replaced by construction brick waste. The replacement is done for 20%, 25%, 35% and 40% replacement of materials. The specimens are tested on its compressive and split tensile strength.
