EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON PARTIAL REPLACEMENT OF FINE AGGREGATE BY GLASS POWDER IN CONCRETE
Abstract
Glass powder utilized in concrete creating ends up in greener atmosphere .in shops, sheet cuttings and broken glass sheets are go to waste, that aren't recycled nowadays and frequently disposal of landfills. The waste glasses are used in concrete to be reduced on disposal sites waste and conservation of atmosphere. The manufacturing sand was partly replaced (0%-30%) with glass powder in concrete. This project examines the replacement fine aggregate by using glass powder in concrete. Compressive strength of cubes and tensile strength of cylinder up to 28 days older were relate with those of high performance concrete created with manufacturing sand and glass powder.
