REAL TIME VEHICLE MONITORING AND DROWSINESS DETECTION

Abstract

The main aim of this project is to construct a smart vehicle system for enhancing the safeness of the driver and also reduces the accidental injuries. Smart vehicle system will entail the parameters of vehicle sensing mechanism which automatically messages to traffic police with the details of vehicle position when an accident occurs. This system also contains camera for detecting driver’s drowsiness. Various sensors which senses various parameters of the vehicle is connected to a single board computer as controller which detects when the abnormal conditions occur or any accidents occur then sends text message, to a drivers relatives with vehicle location. The existing system will track only less distance because it is not connected to the internet and also drowsiness is not monitored. In the proposed system, the system provides a fully automated tracking and monitoring of the vehicle which can be implemented in school bus, for Children's safety and also it provides the accurate arrival time of the vehicle at particular location or stop.The system also provides students safety mechanism with the help of temperature sensor and MEMS sensor. The Vehicles are tracked by remote locations also and drivers drowsiness is also monitored in this system.Audio alert system is used to provide alert to the driver when he falls asleep.This system can be implemented in any vehicle for drivers and passengers safety.
