SELF CONTROL ROBOT FOR MILITARY APPLICATION

Abstract

This paper introduces a modern approach to control and border surveillance that uses multifuctional process based on current IOT. It is used for defence and military applications. This robotic system is used for metal detection and replacement of the soldiers. The robotic vehicle uses wireless communication media to function both as an autonomous and manually controlled vehicle. This multi-sensory robot used to detect enemy presence then it captures in camera and provides live streaming to the authorized person. Surveillance is a major role while we are working on border area for this monitoring purpose, self controlled robot is used. Such robots are used to increase the soldier’s ability in open terrain .huge effort is being made in the last decade to build robots for military fields and extensive research is being carried out in various parts in the world. This motivation has helped us to create a prototype self controlled robot (called UGV) to perform missions including border patrol , surveillance and active combat both has a stand – alone (autonomic) unit and in collaboration with human soldiers(manual). We also use another unique mode called Self control mode or command control mode.
