SMART GRID ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

Abstract

Energy crisis is one of the major problems in today’s world. Developing countries are struggling

to come out of energy crisis. The main reason for energy crisis is the inefficient utilization of renewable

energy sources. By using the available energy sources efficiently the demand for energy can be met. In our

research, the energy management can be achieved by prioritizing the electrical appliances and by alternating

between renewable and non-renewable energy sources, the energy wastage can be minimized and over

exploitation of resources can be reduced. This can be achieved by a system build up of Arduino and other

sub components.
