Abstract: Conservation of water is one of the major objectives for any country around the world. In more than 30% of people live in urban areas that are expected to double in population by 2050. With a increasing economy and dynamical lifestyles the pressure on water resources used for supply purpose is increasing. The flow sensors were used to measure the flow of water in different branches of the pipeline. These sensors generate analog voltage values which is given to the Ard3uino Uno, which functions as an controller in the project. These analog values are processed and compared to detect the presence of leakage in the pipeline system. The embedded c programming is used for the programming of Arduino Uno. The region with the leakage is displayed in the LCD display attached to the controller.
