OBSERVATION OF SOLAR SYSTEM DIRECTION AND APPLIANCES IN HOME THROUGH IOT
Abstract
Home automation is a most used and famous technology in the world. The object of this paper is to automate home appliances based on environmental monitoring system, so that they can be monitored from everywhere. Besides the power supply to the system is provided by an individual sun tracking solar panel. The system employs an embedded web server based on Arduino ATMEGA 328P microcontroller, with internet protocol connectivity for accessing and controlling electronic appliances remotely. the proposed system also require a dedicated server PC like other available systems and offers a specific communication protocol to control and monitor the home environment with more than just the switching functionality to get a efficient power from solar panel, this project proposes sun light based automatic panel tilting mechanism using LDR sensors . To demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of this system, devices such as light switches, power plug, temperature sensor with the proposed smart home control system.
