The purpose of the project entitled “Grocery” is to computerize the front office management of the online store to develop software that is user-friendly simple, fast, and cost-effective, for personal use and makes the data processing very fast. The basic concept of the application used to shop virtually using the internet and allow customers to buy the items and articles of their desire from the store. Online grocery shopping is a new way of buying desired grocery products for household consumption. It has been started in Malaysia a few years back with early local online groceries. Due to the advancement of today technology, online grocery shopping is gaining its market share in the food retail industry. In the COVID period in the supermarket customer directly approach the product is not safe, when there may be a crowd at the time we can order the product online and buy it in online payment or cash on delivery. Customers without mobile can use the desktop placed in the shop to place the order. Customers purchase by using their customer id that is a unique Id for every user, by using purchase history we can identify customers favorite product and brand. monthly purchase can be easy while using these history-based purchases. While using a virtual shopping application customers can see the stock range, description of the product, and price. Every item in the grocery store placed on a particularly organized virtual shelf, it helps the customers to find the product easily. They can search products using the search bar on the top of the window. Customer details are stored in the SQL database on the server-side. Recently purchased items have placed the top on the store tap. When ordering groceries, Shopping systems provide a virtual shopping cart for holding items selected for purchase.
