CREDIT CARD FRAUD DETECTION USING MACHINE LEARNING ALGORITHM

Abstract

An individual making online purchases, credit cards provide a reliable and practical option. As a result of rising credit card usage, credit card misuse is becoming increasingly likely. When credit card information is stolen, both the cardholders and the financial institutions incur significant financial losses. This research study's main objective is to find these frauds, which may be found in high-class data imbalances, data accessibility, changes in the form of fraud, and high   false alarm rates.

The Extreme Learning Method, Decision Tree, Random Forest, Support Vector Machine, Logistic Regression, and XG Boost are only a few examples of the several machine learning-based credit card detection techniques that are published in the relevant literature.
