This paper proposes a novel Battery Management System (BMS) for Electric Vehicles (EVs) that leverages the Internet of Things (IoT) for enhanced safety, performance, and monitoring of EV batteries. The system employs an Arduino microcontroller as the central processing unit to regulate various components. A charging controller ensures efficient battery charging, while a DHT11 sensor monitors battery temperature and transmits data to the IoT cloud in case of abnormalities. A relay mechanism facilitates a seamless switch from DC input power to battery power during temperature irregularities, preventing potential damage. The real-time data transmission to the IoT cloud enables remote monitoring and timely intervention.
