The novel technique for localizing electric vehicles (EVs) during wireless power transmission (WPT) for charging is presented in this research. Our suggested method enables the wireless charging system to determine autonomously the effective coil for transmitting power based on sensors that are triggered by the EV's wheels. Our method involves evaluating the transfer efficiency of each transmission coil in order to select the most efficient one and to maximize the charging efficiency. In addition to improving charging efficiency, this method reduces energy loss by only turning on the coils with the maximum transfer efficiencies. The results show that our technique is able to determine the coil with the highest transmitting efficiency without requiring comparison of measured efficiency or real power transfer. Furthermore, the analysis confirms that the suggested charger configuration allows nearly instantaneous positional recognition of the receiver coil, which leads to energy savings and quicker charging periods.
